Site Location
The Mariners’ Club, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
Description
Founded in 1863, The Mariners’ Club provided both local and visiting seafarers with clean, cheap accommodation, as well as material and spiritual support. The original Club building, built in 1967, was demolished and redeveloped into a 42-storey new hotel of 340,000 sq ft. Within the hotel, the 4,600 sqm clubhouse occupies seven floors, which includes a chapel, multi-function rooms, a restaurant, bar, gym and outdoor swimming pool.
The newly installed systems enable users at the St. Peter’s Seafarer’s Church to livestream events inside the chapel to different multi-function rooms both in and outside of the hotel, for the hotel to host all types of events in its function rooms, for guests to enjoy music in the restaurant and gym, and watch sports events at the bar.
