Elephant has recently completed the replacement of CCTV and Public Address systems at the Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground.

Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground provides international-standard athletic facilities, and a turf pitch suitable for football, rugby, archery activities and competitions. The Sports Grounds features a covered spectator stand with seating capacity of close to 12,000.

The Sports Ground provides a wide range of facilities for hire by individuals and organisations during opening hours, and they include:

• 8-lane 400-metre all-weather athletic track;
• Field and track facilities for high jump, long jump, triple jump, and javelin throwing event;
• A warm-up track;
• Turf pitch with floodlight system;
• Full colour electronic scoreboard;
• Fast food and light refreshment kiosks;
• Fee-paying car park with 70 parking spaces for private cars, coaches, motorcycles and with two accessible parking spaces;
• Changing rooms, toilets and baby care room.

The newly installed systems will enable staff to monitor public safety throughout the venue and make live announcements during events and competitions in designated areas with wireless mics.
