Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital is an acute district general hospital. It opened in 1993 with over 1,700 beds and 3,000 staff, and is assigned to the Hong Kong eastern hospital cluster. It is affiliated with the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong, providing clinical attachment opportunities for its medical students.
