Elephant has recently completed the installation of public address systems at the newly re-opened Ma On Shan and Hin Tin Swimming Pools.

Completed in 1997, the Ma On Shan Swimming Pool is made distinctive by its mushroom and tree-shaped fountains at the three leisure pools. The four outdoor waterslides at the pool, at 4.3m and 9m tall, are said to be Hong Kong’s fastest. The complex also houses two teaching pools, a training pool, and an Olympic-size, 50m long by 25m wide main pool, and can serve up to 1,000 swimmers at full capacity.

Located near the Tai Wai MTR Station and opposite Hin Keng Estate, Hin Tin Swimming Pool opened in 2007. The complex has a 50-meter, 8-lane indoor heated swimming pool, and a 100-square-metre indoor heated jacuzzi. There are also training and splash pools in the outdoor area with multiple waterslides.

The newly installed systems will enable lifeguards to remind swimmers of their public safety.
